Jean, what a car, what a sound !!. I saw the pics of your incident on Evolve and Dubai Petrolheads. Sorry to see that happen to such a wonderful car. Whats the latest on the ?.

Having lived in Dubai for 18 years, I can honestly say a true petrolhead will never be disappointed down there!
Do remember to go to the Mall of the Emirates on Thursday and Friday for some heavy exotic spotting. It's not exactly C+C territory,but 4 Veyrons have been spotted at that very mall

Shotcaller, it is the 4th round of the National Touring Car Championship that takes place on the race track....BTW Speedtrip is around March 12th in Bahrain 
Madsex, yes that's the pic that was in the papers I was waiting for the fire boys!
Unvmym3, perforated oil hose from the turbo that the local Porsche techs "forgot" to replace, it dripped oil over the header heat wraps, soaked them really well, and then they caught fire once it got really hot. Took them 20 minutes to put the fire off with more than 10 bottles and the fire truck....it would just not die. Engine out, damaged, but how much is unknown yet, wiring harness melted and a few other things like the hydraulic reservoir, body damage fender, rear decklid and RUF bumper, nothing that cannot be repaired. If you are not ready to write off your car, don't race it I guess!
