PP's current project: GT street rear on 996TT... open to suggestions

PP is working on a GT street rear on a 996TT. Open to everyone's thoughts... what do you think? Obviously, I think that it'll need sides and a front to complete the look.

Beginning stages

Here it is with the TA sides

How it sits now

Still need to fix and clean up the exhaust tip area

Open to any thoughts/comments

That thing is so unbalanced when just one part..even with the sides. I'd say do the full thing or leave it alone. It needs the front too!

My opinion.

JCB, I 100% agree. I don't think anyone would get the rear kit by itself :) at least I sure hope not. It's way too extreme on it's own

I think it will look good once the entire kit is complete.

How about a GT3RS style rear with center exhaust, but incorporating some IC vents ? :)

I WANT A GT STREET REAR DECK LID PLEASE!!!!

why nobody makes a replica of that, it would be so simple to do and mass produce.

Hey Wes,

If there's enough demand for it, I don't see why not? :)

I too love that wing. I've asked PP to make one...we'll see if there's enough demand for it.

Thomas, that's a great looking replica if it is one.

well if that's a replica, WHO DOES IT? :)

PrecisionPorsch Feb 9, 2009 11:44 AM

If it is, I know for a fact it's not PP. What it does look like is a hacked up stock oem decklid with a GT2 wing mounted

I feel your pain.... I am dying for one too and not looking to play $5,000 + for an original

vbmw335 Feb 9, 2009 12:06 PM

PP should also make a turbo aero kit decklid too....I really want to get one ,but oem is big bucks.

Let me ask you all this... how much would be a reasonable price for this spoiler? I can ask for him to make it if there's enough demand

PP has it for the C4S. He just needs a turbo to test fit and make adjustments

Thomas has a pretty good eye for detail. From the picture it is hard to tell, but it doesn't look adjustable like the original TA piece.

looks way wide...needs the whole package to balance...needs more wing too. it's not for me...but I like the stock look. wing pumalex posted looks good
