We are in for a long term recession. It just gets harder to justify any mods on my car when i check Yahoo finance page

Also i have feeling that we will be stuck at these price levels for a long time even after the dust settles. Maybe this is the true valuation of most companies in the market.

I think they should just handover the stimulus money to tax payers directly, just like Japan did. Instead of handing it over to the crooks who will take years to swindle and get projects done.

some of that money can be used to pay down debt and help folks like us with mods and stuff ..lol

BofA went down to the $2s today, I truly believe bank nationalization is coming.

There is no question about that. These are basically insolvent banks and there is no way around it. Hopefully the feds can insure all assests until 100k.

If anyone thought after what we went through a couple months ago we were through, you are ignorant and shouldn’t be in the market in the first place!

Oh yeah, you don't have to worry. Max out your contribution (buy them cheap now), you'll thank me when you retire.

+1

Those who are cutting back or stopping contributions into 401ks because "the market is down" are grade-A morons.

LOL...that made me laugh.

But yes, def. continue with 401K unless you are planning to retire in the very near future. I'm in my 20s and could care less how my financial portfolio has looked these last 2 years...I'll look again in 20 years and they'll be fine.

Remember Will Rodgers...He said, "There's nothing to making money in the market. Buy low sell high." The interviewer asked him, "What if your stock goes down?" Answer, "Don't buy that stock."

Yes, if you have a long investment window keep investing, but we havn't seen the bottom yet.
