Great meeting all the guys from the board that attended. Was only able to make it on Sat, so I may have missed a few people from the board on Sunday. Met up with Fred, Alex, Josh, Doug and a few others from the northern Cali crew, also had some laughs with Wilber and Tyson and gang. Also was nice to be able to meet Stephan, Todd, Andrew and crew at the Evo chip install trailer. Bydesign had an impressive floor display with some of the nicest cars again this year.

There were a few very nice early original Carreras RS's with original paint in immaculate condition this year in the Peoples Choice Concours one white version in particular was for sale for $95k, also some of the nicest 356's I've seen in awhile.

I was fortunate and lucky to be awarded the Peoples Choice Concours Award in the C-15 division again this year. Gary(FL) thanks for the interior pieces I received in time for the concours! Jack(LA) thanks for the Ashton, great fun this weekend.

It was great to meet you too Oak. And congrats on the win, fully deserved as your car truly is a beauty. Of course had I entered the concourse you know I would have won, what with my ghetto boost gauge and polar silver duct tape.

PS I saw that RS for 93k. Lovely indeed.

 

Alex, let me know how the new "mod" works out. I think I may have to have some trick "ghetto mods" done, like you and Fred had done this weekend. I think I may wait and see how it all works out over time. I think I'll let others be the "guinea pig" this round.

Glad the parts made it in time. I did not know you had a date in mind or I would have got them to you sooner. Nice pictures, maybe next year I will head out with Keith from Jax, although it would be tough seeing all you guy's driving great machines and mine sitting at home....

Just gotta admit those HRE 840 series looks pretty clean on your car! I hate you! j/k Also did you upgrade you brake? If so what is that 8-piston 380mm kit up front? Back?

 

I guess you haven't seen the turbo in awhile. I changed to the GT2 6 piston front and 4 piston rear monobloc calipers in steel. Awsome brakes, I haven't experienced any fade yet!

 

You're right i haven't seen your car in a while. Those brakes looks prett nice and compliments the brushed aluminum HRE's you've got. Maybe one of these days we can do a meet?
