Sean do you have any classes tomorrow? Paul are you able to take a break from your Days of Our Lives daily routine? Maybe we can get Ryan, Ben, etc. and all go grab lunch since it's going to be a Friday.

The M3 is a straight six too correct? If the block and rotating assembly are strong these ought to be capable of coming close to that and judging from his dyno sheet he is! 2BAR, even 2.1BAR isn't extreme in my book, 996 run way lower than I'm used to but the displacement gets the job done...

I'm really looking forward to folks like Wes and Justin finding out the limits on these motors. Supra guys used to think 600RWHP was the limit too once upon a time.
Sure you can run 700 whp on these motors as many have done before and still do.The problem is though that when or if the motor lets go it becomes very expensive from there on.Bending parts on these motors is not cheap or is it to build one right,so I think many do rebuild as a preventative measure.20k comes up real quick(and this is just a basic build) when rebuilding one of these motors not to mention there are only a handful of engine builders that really know the ins and outs of building one correctly.Sure you can run these motors at MORE THAN 700WHP but how long it will last depends on how it is being driven and who is doing the driving. In most hands(mine) it wouldn't last long.

I would imagine you would want to run meth all the time especially when racing since it is safer for your engine. Also if you could switch so easily from map to map, why did you not do this. Just curious. I mean when I go to a race and race against such worthy cars and video is being shot, I give it all I have.

well i had just gotten my stage 3 back and we usually meet up so i though it be fun to mess around with the car and get used to it(SBBC,different maps)..it wasnt a serious run we always do runs for fun just to mess around etc etc so its not like it was a big deal...me and Thomas talked it out over the phone and he feels we should not run again to avoid another thing like this turned out to be...which i respect his decision but im always ready if he changes his mind for another run either way it doesnt matter.
Its not like i have anything to prove here ive ran a large handful of very fast cars and bikes so one bad run isnt going to bother me and that day he beat me fair enough whatever the conditions were he beat me. I value my friendship with thomas and i dont like to make enemies.

The fact is, you lost. It doesn't matter what your excuses are, the 996 pulled you. Period.

Look; you're the one that chose to put a big turbo on a platform that's not conducive to running large rears. Thus, any traction issues you have at high boost are you're own fault.

If you want to remain on this forum, I suggest you man the FU%K up and stop whining like a little girl. You're really starting to **** me off with your negative attitude and sarcastic comments.

as for you... ^^^ LMAO...alright then
