Another satisfied customer from Kevin UMW

After my first mod with the RPI exhaust and agency DVs, I decided to have my TT flashed. I seriously considered Kevin because of his good reputation on board. After "hundreds" of emails to and fro, I decided to put my bet on him. As I am a computer idiot, Kevin was very patient in helping me to get through the software issues during the flash procedure. After the first flash my TT has become a totally different car, it is violent and the power is really explosive especially at high rpm. It is really FAST. I was very happy. hilarious but I was wondering if I could get a programme that gives me more power at low rpm for city drive, as the traffic here is usually very congested. Instead of walking away with the money I have paid, Kevin suggested that he could write me another programme to suit my driving habit. I was definitely surprised :eek:and pleased!:D Very soon I was sent with the second programme, one which is more linear and smooth with more power at low to mid rpm.

This is really what we all mean by good customer service. I am very impressed and satisfied; and Kevin has actually exceeded my expectation! And now I am looking forward to Kevin's turbos!:p

For those who are sitting on the fence, you should give Kevin a call!

Welcome to the UMW Family!

Me too. I have had Upsolute for years, and raced with no problems,
but now, for the customization I want (100-octane option etc), I'm
going with UMW. I was way over the top of my PCA street-tired
competitors the first race out.

Congrats, UMW tunes are excellent. I have k16 hybrids and tune and I spin tires in the first 3 gears, at 6000ft !!! you will enjoy.

Add me to the list of satisfied UMW customers as well. My experience was much the same as the OP's except I am running Kevin's standard tune and love it. I will agree his customer service is top notch and turnaround time getting me the tuned file from my upload was amazing.

:)

I "had to" get a clutch, DV's and LWFW kit too .....then came the suspension from Dan, Switzer exhaust, pads, SRF, DE seat time....and a big wing/winglets up front.....

Thank goodness for Sumitomo HTR Z III's.

;)

Boy is this fun.

Jeff

Did you know that Seal Gray cars are faster at altitude than other cars. They blend better with the sky at 6000ft so that the air can't see the body and cause friction. little known fact.

+1 for Kevin. He has been a great help to me also, as well as a great tune and brake upgrade.
