It's a real bummer, as Dan said
Start making friends in the car community...I know some guys in your area who can hook you up w/ a source for unleaded race gas. Keep a barrel in your garage and mix 5 gallons in w/ every tank and you can safely run 1.2-1.3 bars all day.

Holy crap man!

I already have the exhaust-

I also have to keep in mind that my wife drives this car every once in a while and I drive it everyday.

Now I'm saving for the winter wheel/tire setup that I'll have to buy come November.

The turbo upgrade and 5 bar is cheap. Just keep the boost down when wifey drives it.

You didn't feel much from the tune because you needed the exhaust now all is good

I think you can get race gas at bandimere.

also, Dugans on Sante fe sells 105 unleaded and 110 or 111 leaded.

Yeah, I saw that somewhere else too. Duggans would be the place for me to go.

Maybe I'll swing by next weekend.

Bandimere only sells on race days.

take a 5 gallon can with you. I stick about a gallon with every tank just to make sure my 91 octane gas truly is 91 and not 89 or 90 from sitting to long. 1 gallon of 105 will raise your octane by 1 point. good safety margin. you can do 2 gallons and be safer.

Hey, by the way I saw a silver turbo heading south on I25 today at 4ish. Was that you. Tinted windows and blacked out rear plate. looks like it had a concealed rear radar detector as well.

The exhaust may be a tad louder now that I have a few thousand miles on it. However, it still sounds great with little to no drone at highway speeds. The gains were pretty much instant with the software that I did at the same time.

Fit and Finish are perfect and have had no issues in that department.

I would do it the same way if I had to do it over again.

For the price and performance, the AP exhaust is a great buy!

Stock Clutch and no issues thus far. I don't drag the car though. I don't baby it either. I just figure that it'll go at some point, but I'd like the stock clutch to last as long as it can. I'm at about 525 (ish) hp at the crank. Run 1.0 - 1.1 bar on a good day on 91 octane.

PM me anything you want. I'm glad to answer any questions you have.

I have the same situation. Mine is a DD. I've been driving in the snow lately with some good snow tires, it's about the best snow car I've ever driven, given that it's not too deep.

I've got the AP Exhaust, Diverter Valves, F-Hose, Softronic X-50 tune for 91 octane, and AP intake with K&N filter. The car hasn't missed a beat and it works great as a DD as the power levels still keep it reliable, but livable in rush hour.

Will probably step up to the VR 650 pkg next year as I'll probably be moving to Austin as my work may require and I won't have to deal with sub zero temps and snow anymore on any consistant basis. Also, 93 will be available.

The car is probably the most versatile I've ever owned with he exception of the Cherokee SRT-8. However, I get 24 mpg on the hwy with the Porsche.

Dan at Vivid has really helped with the mods. I would suggest dealing with him any day of the week.
