I've heard our cars aren't great at the 1/4 mile, but are better at rolling runs

I've also seen some posts about crazy fast Supras

As the Market in the UK isn't anywhere near what it is in the US all my knowledge comes from the forum

So, my question is which cars are good at which disciplines?

0-60mph
0-300kph
60-130mph
1/4 mile
etc...

 

All performance measures take some level of skill and finesse. Any vehicle is capable of any of these measure, if prepared. Any measure fom a dead stop requires a little more finesse than say a 60-130 or any other moving test.

 

Quarter mile runs are fine in the car...I believe average GT700 cars run very high 10s.

0-60 the car has an advantage due to AWD...but 0-60 as most would agree, is more of a measure of how willing you are to abuse the car, versus acceleration.

If you want a car easy to make 1000hp, yes, the Supra is great (I've owned 1 before, awesome car) but otherwise, our turbos do wonders as well.
