Is $58k really the price of 02 Gt2's

Was just running around and stopped by a high end dealership yesterday and saw this:

Asked if the price was correct and indeed it is... is this normal or any idea's why its so cheap?

car4me Aug 14, 2009 06:06 PM

imo, i have been searching for porsche, this is a little high with 71k miles

raineycd Aug 14, 2009 06:44 PM

Hmm. Isnt that a good price for a GT2? Miles are kinda high, but still. Don't they normally go for $80k and up?

AceRothstein415 Aug 14, 2009 06:46 PM

must have been a very fun 70k miles

misterwaterfall Aug 14, 2009 06:49 PM

thats about right, you can probably find one with lower miles for about the same price

kwerks Aug 14, 2009 08:24 PM

Its the trend price*. Good luck with the hunt and make sure to check list off all the "hickup" things these gt2's are common to.

If the car has no stories besides the miles and passes a PPI with good leakdown #s, it is a phenomenal deal.

^^^Exactly what Luis said!!!! We're not talking a Turbo, we're talking GT2. Like Luis said, if it's only high mileage and nothing else wrong, clean carfax, no frame damage or paint etc. and it's truly only high mileage, then this is theft at this price.

Thats what I thought... edmunds has this car priced ~80k. Hell an 04 gt3 at the same dealership was 63k.

ExclusiveTT Aug 15, 2009 02:49 PM

rmani Aug 16, 2009 09:13 AM

Even if the car had an accident, as long as it was fixed ok and is straight and runs great, buy buy buy. Amazing machine, can't not love it.

Vandit Aug 19, 2009 09:07 PM

Wow, that car looks immaculate for a 70k mile car! If you plan to make your car a regular driver, and a thorough inspection gave this car a clean bill of health, then why the heck not!
