Some Pics from 1/4 Mile and Braking
Here are some pics from today.

Congrats to EVO for winning fastest 1/4 mile and also fastest trap speed (2 different EVO's one each)
I won the braking (it was due to my suspension).
I did this because it was 0-100-0, so they didn't need to use full boost.
I don't know who won the driveability event.
Enjoy the pics!!!!

I can only say that no one broke the 11's but very, very, very, very close. The drivers even admitted that they dont' drag. Alex from Protomotive actually spent several minutes with them after they ran a couple. They immediately shaved .50 of a second. So these times we were all confident could have been better with drivers who knew how to drag. As we know, there specialty is road racing not drag. In any case they did a fantastic job!!!
The fastest time was 140MHP!!! Insane.
We are not posting to give Excellence the opportunity.
thanks

didnt some drivers drag their own cars at the last "european car" shootout in aprl?... instead of Cort Wagner? i dont think anyone complained back then?
Did anyone drive there own car at the 1/4 mile this time around? if not, why not.

At least this time it was at a real track instead of laptops with GPS/timers etc.

The braking test is the most worthless of all the tests. Tire choice will dominate ANY other factor. Secondly, getting accurate and repeatable data is difficult because the differences from like shod cars will be so small.

Neil, I don't think not breaking into the 10's was dissapointing for this particular event. While the tires were in my opinion a surprisingly good all around tires, they are not purpose built. It was obvious that they played a part in the higher quarter times that were delivered by all entrys. All cars had a fair amount of trouble hooking up off the line with all that power.
