If the engine and drivetrain in general are holding up good enough say after mods and 40,000 miles?
I am just trying to evaluate the GT1 engine and see how much abuse can you dump on it, i would not really consider any of this abuse, i call it driving it as it was meant to be driven.

Kino,
What are you doing? Is this in addition to the EVT700?

Well I am planning on heading down to Todd's shop and having the complete hell package installed. Headers, Clutch and full dyno tune then drive the crap out of it! Currently I have the EVT tune but we dialed down the torque a bit, I got the EVOMS BRV's, IC's and the larger VTG's, a few little things and then will see what's next, maybe go fo rthe 750 kit.

Zip, except a bad slave and accumulator, which was warranteed, otherwise I would have done it myself. I just found out I have a bad front Dif, (so now I am RWD), but I think it was like that before I bought it. Would not have been a deal breaker, even if I knew.

ECU & Exhaust (1.0 bar only) from 30K to 40K

Proto "700" Kit from 40K to 52K (present) (1.0 pump/1.35 bar 104 oct)

Zero problems

The GT1 engine is astoundingly stout (and remember detonation kills em, not "boost")

I'm a little confused. You have VTG's on a 996 TT? Your sig and screen name suggest 997 TT.

No, I do not own a 996 but i am inquiring from the owners since the engine s about the same to see how well their vehicles are holding with modifications and miles. So far i am impressed.
