New Epl Tial 3071, New Clutch S$#T!!

Thanks to Tony and my friends for helping me get this together. Installed Epl's 3071 kit and after a problem with the Ecu ( a whole other story that Tony fixed) and a new Spec 3+ clutch all is together. Now I have this new found power I cant use it because I am breaking in the new clutch!! Oh well, it runs flawlessly and trying to learn the new engagement point on the clutch. I know a few people are asking about clutches and some put down the Spec, but other than having to adapt to a different engagement point it is great. I think if you are used to one clutch and are not open to a new feel then stay with what u are used to otherwise I would by the Spec 3+ again.

Sweet. What other mods do you have?

SIC996 09-12-2009 07:25 PM

RPi 3" exhaust, Forge DV, SIlicone boost hoses, Custom intake plumbing with help from Dgreen78, Evoms intake, Epl's 3071 kit, and soon Epl's meth injection.

Nice mod list there. Gonna be a badass setup once that meth kit is installed!

Got pics of your custom intake plumbing? (I assume that is the same as the "inlet duct piping" that EVOMS sells?)

Dgreen78 sold me the parts to modify your stock plenum to accept 2.5" hose to the turbo inlet. It just requires welding a piece onto your plenum, run the hoses down and attach with 2 machined fittings. I love the DIY when it saves $$$$$$http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o...e/NewImage.jpg
