81Yr old drags his 997TT on Speed's "Pass time"; anyone know him?
 

An 81 year old guy ran his '07 to 11.01 130 in the quarter. He said he ran the car in drags 200 times before:), the three contestants all underestimated the performance. The car "has a stock engine with some turbos".

I have it recorded on my DVR, transferred to my laptop in MP4.

Excellent! Haven't seen that show in a while. Which track was that? Couldn't tell if it was a tip or 6spd?

When I hear people talk about buying a car, and they say "Apparently it was owned by an elderly gentleman..." it makes me chuckle. :)

They can be crazy ****ers, bad shifters- and have 'let go' of that concern with 'material things' that us younger guys think is still important...

I love that show, its always on it seems.

It has proto intake looks like,exhaust, and maybe a tune. Not sure if turbos are modified sounded stock to me. Great time and what a video!!! Great post.

That trap speed indicates that the car might have some modified VTG's on it.
