Congrats AMS, 134 is just astounding for a k16 car. Great work and will come by your shop soon as i find time. Your car would smoke mine if it is trapping that high... Looking forward to your k24 upgrades!

these results are pretty interesting to see these small quick spooling turbos hang with times posted by big hitters its crazy actually makes me wonder how far is this tune stretching the limit or how conservative are other tune out there on larger turbo builds

any flow ratings on the turbos so we can compare another turbo to how much this one flows?

Martin/Eric, VERY impressive number with those mods. 133 is MOVIN'!!! Now go figure out why a GTR like mine trapping 131 can only go 182 in the standing mile!

Yea, your car was the most impressive GTR for sure!!!!!! My car sputtered out in 6th and I think it's b/c my plug gap was being blown out (given the high load tables in 6th gear and the stock gap on the plugs). Anyhow, come to TX2K10 and run a LOWWWWW 10 and my baby may make the trip back to Chi-town with you!

I have plenty of time on the track. I took out just about everything that was not bolted in. Still only managed a best time of 11.5@128 with a 2.19 60'.

Tony supposedly through out my k16's or I might have done this mod and got rid of the Gt28's. I am going to take the car to AMS on the third of November and let them and EPL tune the car together. If they can figure things out great, if not, then im going to be very pissed off.

Hopefully you figure out what is wrong with your car soon. Then we will see if you can even pull at least a foot away from my 1 bar, stock fuel system 18g car.

Honestly i want your car to pull on mine ...so i can justify upgrading to Gt28's.

Vince,

2.2 60 foot , pump gas and you still netted a 11.5 @ 128 in summer heat.

I don't think you really have anything to be upset about... Your car appears to be mechanically sorted (for the first time), lets see what we can do with it.

Yeah 128 in the summer heat is going to be in the low 130 area (130-134) in the cold air. Your ET will improve drastically once you get use to driving the car. Don't expect to have a ton of mods and cut a good time right off the bat. It takes practice!

in the summer with 2.2 60ft...I agree 11.5 @ 128 isnt bad. Looks like once you figure out how to launch the car... 10.99 or better and 130 will be achievable....

im sure ams removed as much weight as possible and has a pretty competant driver in the seat so that could be the difference weight slows ya down alot.
To elaborate on what Eric said, the spare tire and tool kit were removed, the Cross exhaust is lighter than stock, the Carbonetics is 16 lbs lighter than the stock clutch and that's it.

Here is the stock weight on the car as it came off the street (3415lbs with no driver) and with the things I mentioned above, it saved about 75 lbs off the car. So currently we're probably around 3325-3335 lbs. For those of you road racing you'll see the total weight and cross weights with 205 lbs driver in the seat. Cross weight is at 50% and really doesn't change with the driver, very impressive from the factory.
