Alright, I am looking at taking a bone stock 02 996tt w/ 9k miles to the next level. Question one am I crazy for modding a car w/ such low miles? Question 2. I am looking at both exhaust systems AWE, B&B and a GIAC Flash 60 hp for $6,000.00 with the AWe exhaust and $4500.00 for the B&B. Which should I do? 3. How do these prices sound? Any other suggestions for 90-100hp gains? Thanks

I have been speaking to your install center today. They are trustworthy and do great work.

Forget about B&B How about remus or Switzer? Anyone running the super value deal w/ Switzer?

 

My 02 turbo came with a B&B on it when I bought it 3 years ago. I removed it a couple of months later. Too raspy sounding for my taste, and it was restrictive. It did not let the stock turbos spool up quickly like my Europipe Stg2 Q does.

 

I doubt you'd be happy with the B&B and i can tell you from experience that the quality is just not there with the B&B compared with the AWE unit. Especially the thickness of the silencer stainless. Thinner wall thickness. Does not hold up as well. Granted the AWE system is more expensive but it is a finely tuned and beautifully finished piece of hardware. Sound quality is also superior.
