Normally these guys are pretty reasonable but they took my engine out to change to the AMS Billet Turbo's noting several bolts were rusted or heat sealed !!! Rather extreme not only that but they charge $500 for the Mobil One engine oil and I only had it serviced 2 months ago when guess what, they also charged me $500 for the engine oil

And you provided the turbos??!!
That is absolutely rediculous. It should have been $1000 or less.

Even if I was stupid wealthy, (and I'm not!) I don't think I could pay that knowing it takes about $85 and an hour of my time to change the oil. Too bad this stuff happens.

Holy crap! They could have literally sawzall'd the old turbos out, bought Vivid headers AND a speedtech exhaust and still come out ahead!

So, the obvious question is: Will you be giving them your repeat business after this?

I'm guessing that good shops are hard to come by in your area or something, but obviously there should be a limit to how much profit a shop makes on jobs such as these. Sheesh!

I guess I don't understand...What advantage is there to pulling the engine to get the turbos off? Even if you snapped the bolt you should be able to drill it out or weld a nub to crank it out from under the car. Is this any different on the 996TT?
