What do you guys think of the Aasco LFW and Sachs State 2 Clutch and PP?
I have a 2004 996 TT X50 pushing 600 HP. I am looking for a new clutch. I was talking to Turbo Mike and he recommended the Aasco LWF with the Sachs State 2 Clutch and Pressure plate. Is anyone using this setup? Is there alot of chattering? What do you guys think of this setup? Thanks
I have the GT3RS LWFW so I do not know if they vary but yes it chatters some, but if it's loud or not is all subjective. I hear it, but I also hear my exhaust, my Valentine One, my stereo, etc.
i love my rs flywheel and clutchmaster fiber tuff clutch
no chatter... i little sticky but not to bad the engagement point is higher than stock .. but what do u expect its not a stock clutch

What kind of turbos are you running? Depending on your tuner you may need a reflash to prevent stalling and surging.
You're welcome to come by and hear mine. It sounds like something is broken at idle... but I don't care what others think. Never really have.
It's really nice, but many have preferred to stay with or go back to the stock flywheel. It's definitely a compromise.

I have the same setup, AASCO LWFW and Sachs performance clutch and PP. It is very good and drives close to stock. I don't think the chatter is very loud and I usually sit with my clutch in at stoplights, so I rarely get the chatter. Under low RPMs, there is more transmission noise as well, but that is about all I ever notice as far as noise and that is usually only under takeoff...

I just dropped my car off at BBi to get a stage 3 sachs setup with a different LWFW (not AASCO) that isn't suppose to make as much noise. I don't have the part numbers but Betim recommended this when I told him I didn't want all the noise when i'm at a stop light.
You can call BBi to get more info.
