I am assuming it is black in finish from them? I have not done one- not even on my own 1000 rwhp car... actually of all 1000+ rwhp cars I know of none of use have it... with that said, I do not see why it cant be done... But it looks like that process alone takes a few weeks...

Just looking to improve heat dispersion while keeping the same core size.

I have a question and I am not attempting to be difficult or rain on anyone's parade. The same question would apply to anyone who builds end tanks for these intercoolers.

Have they been flow tested ......... but far more important have they been flow tested with a Pitot tube so as to determine if the design allows the air to "evenly" flow over the whole whole inlet/outlet core surface without low pressure voids?

Tank design is one of Secan's big advantages and such a test bears this out.

Not difficult at all.. I remember when evoms came out with their ICs that they are using till this day similar questions were raised. The bottom line is that I do not know of one 6 speed tuner that sells/makes Ics that does all the High end testing... We are selling $2000 ICs vs $25000 Secan ICs... the price tells it all... nor are we building one off GT3RSR cup cars either. I will be doing some basic testing... actually I began already.. I am sure I will not satisfy everyone... basic Dyno back to back and temperature logs should suffice most if not all... Ironically speaking, 99% of the big HP street P cars in this country have one off hand made ICs end tanks that NEVER have been tested other then on a dyno during tuning....

I'm going to be running Mark's 4.5 inch intercoolers. I'm impressed by the attention to detail and the craftmanship that goes into these things.

Wow. Beautiful work and the welds are fantastic. Perhaps you should consider putting together some package deals for IC's, exhaust, header, etc.

Mark congrats for the Excellent work you have been putting out in such little time. We know your a GURU when it comes to these cars but your making alot of resellers seat right now i'm sure!

Mark, they look awesome. What do you expect as a rough whp gain replacing stock ICs with yours (same size) without further tuning, just part for part? Very vague, I know, but I am just just looking for a ballpark figure.
