What's the best way to keep the inside of your rims clean
Seems like I am cleaning mine so often. There has to be a way to keep them from collecting so much brake dust, etc. I have been cleaning them and waxing them, but that doesn't seem to last very long.
Anyone have any tips? |
I think rejex is a good product for this.

Never drive it. :p

Yeah, unfortunately there's not really a way for rims not to get dirty... |
I've never used rejex but people seem to like it. I think keeping them good and waxed makes cleaning them easier. But to me the most important thing is the type of wheel you own. Twists are super easy because you don't have to take them off the car. Any mesh wheel looks great clean buts sucks royal dung to clean.
Of course if money is no object get ceramic brakes :) |
i use rejex also, works pretty well, they still get dirty though, my rims are pretty easy to clean though so it doesnt really bother me
|
Thanks guys. Where do you get rejex at? Can I pick it up at like walmart or something?
|
Wross and Buzz can you tell us which one you are using from the Rejex product? Thanks.
http://www.rejex.com/ Rainey I just saw it is possible to get it at Truevalue.... or http://www.rejex.com/dealers_distributors.htm |
never heard of rejex, might have to give it a try, any feedback?

Drive slow and use Ebrake to stop.. Keeps them as clean as they can be.. LOL

You guys are too funny! I really can't stand it after a DE event. It is like completely black inside there! Guess I will stick with good old elbow grease!
|
Get a set of PCCB's and wax the inside of you rime (any wax will do) and they be stay cean for months at a time.

I use FK1 Hi Temp wax part number 1000. This wax seems to stick and last on wheels. My car is not a DD and I have to admit I clean the wheels every time I drive it.
