It sucks.. I would never buy a car like that without taking some kind of lesson.... or atleast meet another 6 speeder before I bought it...
I think I am going to buy a cgt and someone needs to give me lessons.. any takers...

But all cars or so can be fixed if you plunge in your wallet deep enough.
So in the end, it's almost not that much of a deal.
Fire $ucks, though!
It IS too much car and too little talent. While it's true that sh*t happens, if you have never been to the track, you are a likely next candidate.
I can't recall how many times the stuff that I learned at the track was applied subconsciously in everyday situation that totally saved my behinds. The most vivid one was my caravan to the Vegas Speedway in my M3 days when I was a mere rookie who barely knew what an apex was. We were all talking crap about other cars on our walkie talkies, holding the wheel with one hand (at either 9 or 3, depending on whether you are a leftie or not), and going way over the speed limit.
All three of us avoided a giant metal sign that was blown onto the freeway and took up one entire lane that happened to be our lane, while keeping our speed and without losing control. Shortly after there was an accident where someone was not able to avoid the sign and went off and hit the embankment.
It is ludicrous to drive these cars without any training, and it is even more ludicrous to think that one can handle these things without any fahrer training. And if you have never been to a real track school, go, and you'll understand how talent free most drivers are. I know that before my first school I thought I was the hot sh*t, and was showing off drifting through turns to my instructor. And then I got passed by an instructor's E30 325 in my M3 like I was going backwards.
Hell, we'll see a lot more regular 911's being wrecked if it wasn't for the almighty PSM that most people need to so depend on. Witness the spectacular pictures of wrecked GT2's floating around.

Well, it turns out it wasn't the owner's fault at all....he lent it to a good friend and he crashed it seconds later....
wonder if the friendship will survive that ?

He was on the parkway and had a truck come over in his lane. His choice was to hit the truck or the cement divder... He choose the divider.. The truck never even saw him there.
**** happens as they say...

Yeah, Don didnt want to have to deal with a possible lawsuit. We all know he has had enough problems with people wanting his money in the past.

Hey anyone that marries their niece has more issues than dealing with their super cars.

He bought 2 CGT's and I know one was delivered. Not sure about the second one.
