Vehicle Overview

The Porsche 959 was by far the most technologically advanced sportscar when it was introduced in 1985. Porsche built only 226 of these supercars between 1987 and 1988. Their timeless design, state-of-the-art systems, and superior driving characteristics make them still one of the greatest sports cars of all time!
This particular 959 is quite special, with only 7650 miles of use it is in spectacular condition and features one of the best color combinations available from Porsche in the day. The traditional German racing silver paint is flawless and the dark red tri-color leather interior is like new. Of all the 959s in the world the cars upgraded by Canepa Design stand head and shoulders above all others. This is a rare opportunity to own on of the worlds greatest super cars.

Canepa Design was instrumental in the passing of the “show and display” legislation, which allows these sought after vehicles to be driven in the United States for the first time. In addition, Canepa Design has invested five years of research and development to bring this awesome supercar to a new level of performance including California and Federal emissions compliance. An extensive engineering and development process including a new sequential engine management system, Garrett Air Research twin turbo system, stainless exhaust with dual catalytics, upgraded fuel system and wiring harnesses, has resulted in dramatic performance improvements.

In addition the factory magnesium wheels have been modified to accommodate current technology Michelin Pilot Sport 245/45/ZR17 front and 275/40 ZR17 rear low profile speed-rated radial tires. The wheels also include Canepa Design exclusive coating finishes.

They modded it? Wow. That takes some stones. At least they didn't chop the roof.

please do a search on Canepa before proceeding...word on the street is that they are in trouble financially and a couple members have complained of being ripped off by Bruce himself...hard for me to believe having met him several times at his shop and at the historics but it is what it is...
