O/T Favorite car movie

What is your favorite car movie? For me I happen to love Gone in 60 Seconds. I also thought that Born to run was a great movie.

Not actually the theme of the movie, but how about Risky Business with Tom Cruise and his father's 928? "Porsche, there is no substitute" and "which one of you is the U-boat commander?" are classic line!

How about No Mans Land with Charlie Sheen. A great Porsche movie. Players Run and Mischeif 3000 are also great movies.

"The Italian Job" with the Mini scenes was pretty cool too.

Don't forget the classics - "Top Car" - I mean "Days of Thunder" with Tom Cruise and "Driven" with Sylvester Stallone!

I have 3 favorites!

1. "Bullit" with Steve McQueen
2. "The French Connection" with Gene Hackman
3. "Dual" (speilberg's first movie) with Dennis Weaver

Frankly, I haven't seen any "modern" movies that capture awesome car scenes - without CGI!

I love that part of the movie! I also agree with RDH, Ronin has some of the best driving scenes with sounds to match.

No Mans Land was great. I could not find it on DVD anywhere. Too bad it went out of circulation.

I bought the Players Run DVD at the "Import Revolution" import show in Ft.Lauderdale. Its an AWSOME video! I think Circut City and Best Buy sell the series now too!
Or you can search for it online. I'll see if I can find it.
