weird, but I'll bite

NO RESERVE ? 100% Feedback principally as the seller, all "Private transactions" which usually indicated high ticket items, a contact phone number, maybe the CGT everyone has been waiting for in the $250K selling range? My 05 TT "S" is enough for me, but one of our more "healed" members might get a late holiday gift!

The guys seller ID is "demovehicles." Could it be one of the crashed ones in the pictures posted here?
Having it pictured garaged sitting next to a covered Enzo would be a great sales trick... |
The car is listed with location of GA.,with a NY. phone number.

Also says Terracotta interior but looks black in the photos

If you notice, the feedbacks left by others are all within this month and the feedbacks he left for others are all within this month too. Kind of suspicious if you ask me.:o

What is this all about?:
"CALL PLEASE THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE ITEM I WOULD LIKE TO TALK AND GAIN A REPOR WIT ANY POTENTIAL BUYER." Sounds very weird. Who cares who the buyer is, give me the cash!! C'mon, somebody call this guy... |

Looks like the car is on consignment at Lux Motors as well... or, that's where they got their photo stock...

This is a scam then.
I had the same thing happen with a Rolex Masterpiece. They take pictures from other sites, or auctions and then use an ID account that is valid and try to low ball an item to get the cash. The last one I reported to the other seller who reported to eBay. |
I would not send this seller a penny.
Seller registered on Dec. 7th and already has 90 positive feedbacks, but you do not know on what items because in all the auctions the seller was involved in were private. But how do you get 38 positive feedbacks on one day December 18th, 31 on the 20th, and on the 19th 8 positives all from the same buyer. Easy. I do not know the name, but people will list a 1 cent item with 'buy it now' because they need positive feedback, and another person wants positive feedback. You 'buy' the item for $0.01 then leave positive feed back for eachother. Two consenting parties can easily inflate their feedback for nothing. I looked at the auctions for the last 4 people that left positive feedback for the seller of the car, and they were all involved in the 1 cent scam. For example, the last person who left positive feedback 'won' several of these 1 cent auctions. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=20475 I could not check out the 5th person who left positive feedback 2 days ago because this person has been suspended from ebay. Since the last 4 people who left positive feedback were involved in a scam to inflate feedback, I can only assume the seller of this car got the 90 positives quickly the same way. Edit. Took me so long to type my message that when I posted it I see someone already found out where the pictures came from. If someone reports this to ebay the listing will be pulled. I sent the seller a link to Luxury motors and asked why the pictures are the same. |
He wants to build a repor? ... sounds like he wants to create a database of phone numbers read potential investors of people who can spare $100,000 ? ..
