Old thread revival but is the dealer still the only place to get these? Both broke when restoring my headlights. I think one of them I can still salvage but most likely not the other one. I can't believe they are like $50 a piece. Looks like something that should be $10 tops?!

On a positive note, my lights look fantastic again

 

Both of mine blew off the very first time I used them. I was going around 55mph. The caps just release themselves from the swivel pins due to insufficient surface area. When I replaced them I placed a little dab of epoxy on the plastic area where the caps swivel on the shaft. I still don't use them but doubt they'll be going anywhere now that they're epoxied!

 

i didn't even know they existed until i tried to use my washers. yeah, 50 bucks.

 

Yeah, I didn't even know the car came with headlight washers LOL . I would expect to find a crappy piece of plastic like that on a Cobalt, not a 911?!

I'll order a replacement online; looks like you can get them a little cheaper.

for those i just stopped at the dealership. in stock, not enough savings to justify waiting and driving around with that hole in my headights lol

look like new, except..gonna look a lot better with a washer cap! how far is mckenna from you.. 10 minutes?? just do it!

 

Ordered a set this afternoon. $37/each. Should have them Wednesday orso; no biggie since the car is not driven during the week anyway.
