It does not surprise me that the GT-2 is at the top of the list. Those cars have the most power of the Porsche family and are least forgiving of bad judgements!

Scott: I have never checked my premium just let them deduct it, that way it doesn't hurt so much. Come see me.

Yeah... Try living in California and see what your rates go to.. Me: 2003 996 GT2, 47 years old, no tickets, perfect driving record $1,955.00 per Year. God knows what a 25 year old would pay here....

The GT2 is un-insurable with some Companies. Geico won't insure it at all, nor will Allstate. They are OK with the TT, just not the GT2...

To 80 Shilling:

Living in the City really adds to the $$$. Moving to the hinterlands helps a lot but, as MBailey mentioned, GT2s are "different".

Then again, we could all be trying to insure Superformance Cobras!

I pay $2400 a year for my Turbo. No multicar, Clear history/record , Age 23. I was actually fairly happy with that price, since I was paying about $2100 a year for my E55 which was on a family policy.

Living in Philadelphia really jacks up the insurance premiums

Anyone go from a 996 to a 996tt? What was the hit? I'd like to get an idea on the percent increase.
