I'd really like to...

Sorry guys, I've butted heads one to many times with Internet Brands...

I'm outta here... You can find me on Renntrack, Rennlist, or PelicanParts... I can't "HELP" other members without constantly getting hammered for mentioning companies that aren't paying sponsors, so I'm done...

They look awesom though! hilarious

Also.. can you give details of how you managed to shoehorn 275's on in the front???? Wheel offsets, camber, caster, toe etc to make it fit...

Nice going on the whole wheel/tire setup.. I suspect you might be a bit "quick" at the track now... :D:D:D

IB better get their head on straight. This forum is much less active every week it seems... What is their problem?

Mike,
You've been such a valuable poster to this site, I can't believe that Moderators are giving you crap for sharing information. Clearly you have no conflicts of interest due to ownership of any other companies or anything like that, so I don't understand what the problem is of you sharing information regarding vendors who make good products or provide excellent service even if they're not sponsors. It's one thing if a person who owns or works for a company comes on and promotes them constantly and is trying to get free advertising. But you have been a tremendous asset to this site with your real world testing and experiences learned through the years and miles of your ownership of your Turbo. Many many of those miles have been on the track where you truly get an accurate depiction of how good a product is. I see it as, I think everyone here WANTS to support the board sponsors. However, if someone else produces a better product or service that currently being offered by board sponsors, THE SPONSORS should step their game up, not go crying to the moderators that so and so is talking about a company that doesn't even Sponsor 6speed. Ugh, these kinds of things really piss me off. Mike, I can understand you wanting to leave if you have to watch everything you say, especially when it's constructive and helps others out. The people who should be hassled aren't people trying to help other people, rather it should be the people who are belittling others or just generally not practicing good message board etiquette. If you really do leave, know that you made a positive impact here and have provided much needed and valuable info. It'll all stay in the archives for others to use. That being said, it sure would suck if others without 6speed sponsors affiliation start leaving this site simply because they can't speak freely about the companies they've chosen to use to supply them with service and/or parts.

I haven't posted much lately and come back to this...SHAME ON YOU IB!!!

When IB bought out audiworld.com.....We all left. Audizine.com is privately owned as of know however they are practicing the same strategy of banning/deleting all post that don't make them money...

Am I allowed to say Quattroworld on this forum?

just so this is not completely one sided and totally lacking in common sense...here is a post from another thread..

I know that Mike has a lot going on in his life right now and having a mother with Lymphoma I can relate...however, I asked Mike not to openly post pricing and contact info for a non-sponsor...I didn't delete his thread I merely asked him to private message that info instead of blatently posting it in open forum and upsetting every paying sponsor of this board since he was offering a product that is offered by sponsors of this board and was also posting pricing info and contact information for the non-sponsor...there is nothing wrong with saying "hey, my friend Mr. Whatever is going to make brake rotors that are going to be identical to mine and for less than what you would expect to pay...pm me for contact info and pricing"...that is acceptable to IB even though some sponsors probably would not appreciate it ...if Mike wants to take that personally there is nothing I can do..there was nothing personal in it...this board is provided for free because of all the paying sponsors and they deserve some respect...we are not trying to deny members any information about non-sponsor products...there are examples everywhere on the board...but when a registered user posts pricing and contact information for a non-sponsor we have to draw the line...again, no threats, no infractions and no ban...just a friendly request not to publish that info in open forum....I believe that Mike is a great asset to this forum and he was treated with all the respect he deserves...I only wish it was a two way street...I would like to take this off the board and directly to Mike and see if I can convince him that he is needed here...thread closed
