How do I remove TT side air intake covers

which are just behind the doors in the side of the car, do they just pop out ? As l want to paint mine other than car body colour

Yes sir. They simply pull out from the front then unsnap. They go back in the same way. I posted some pics a while back. You might doa search. It is easy to pull though.

Painting Air Intakes

Has anybody ever done and have pics of a strong contrast ie done them in Silver on a black car or can somebody photoshop this ?

Reviving an old post here, but I'm contemplating doing a plastidip on them. I've got a speed yellow w/ black cabrio top. I think the contrast of black side air duct covers will look pretty sharp. Anyone else thinking about something like this, now that plastidip is here?

get yourself a plastic shoehorn place it in the lower left hand corner and it will pop out.. i posted pics a year ago it's super ez
