yes my clutch started slipping on my first dyno pull after the upgrade, the car had 77k miles on it and i was anticipating that. not sure when but im sure it'll happen that i'll want more power.

frank my next mod, that's easy. upgrade 6piston brake callipers in yellow and i'll powder coat the rear callipers yellow. i think those wheels with yellow callipers will be perfect.

wezz that was my very last thing i did to the car. i bought the oem shifter **** in cf and never really liked the aluminum base. i sourced the techart shifter at carnewal. because the prices are in euros, it was relative bargin.

i bet. i remember 3 months ago when i first visited him in houston he showed me your car and engine. once he's done, you'll love it. he has kept me abreast to all the cool things you're doing to your car and turbos. my car is driving like a dream --- the pss10's are perfect for aggressive street use. with the limited seat time, the pss10's and the iwirep ipod hook-up have been the two best things i've done.

Awesome setup. Akram is a very good guy to deal with. I've known him almost 3.5 years and he's helped me MANY of times. I need to stop by the shop and take him to lunch one afternoon because I haven't seen him in awhile.

Lucky me! The day I met Akram he took me for a ride in your car! Thats what hooked me on more power and PSS10s. Your car is beautiful and the interior is really cool. Do you now have your car back in the Big D? I bet you are loving it.

Now my car is sitting in his shop. Waiting for a ton of bolt ons to make me go fast like you!

Its funny that Akram will not join any of the forums. When I tell him something good that was said about him it makes him smile but he always says the same thing, that he does not participate in them. It seems he does not want to get involved in the political aspects of it but in truth he is probably just too busy to be sitting around reading threads.

im thinking of selling. this car is fast, reliable, looks new (seriously) inside and out and has been modded i think tastefully. i bought this car for 35k and put 35k in it. it has 82k miles and realistically it's probably worth somewhere between 45-50k. im so neurotic about every little thing in this car that i put wet okole seat covers on so the leather seats remain perfect. it has a custom protomotive tune. the only thing i would do (or knowing me will likely do anyway) is do the evom gt2 slave upgrade. i hate the hydraulic assit clutch or our cars. im thinking of getting an estoril blue m5 e39 or an m3 e46 or a 993 track ready car; if someone has one of these cars and would like to trade, pm me.

im thinking of trading my modded 996tt for a 3.8l 993 race car. the race car has a well documented winning history and was initially for sale for 75k 2 years ago and is now for sale for 55k. it's street legal. it has a newly rebuilt 3.8l engine and a trans with steel syncros. i really like my car but getting an itch and want something more raw. so would you guys make the trade straight up and switch titles?

If you want a 993tt and the car is as clean as your 996tt,i'll make the switch.993tt is more raw then 996tt,harder to drive, maybe more fun, but a good driver shouldn't have any problem.
Good luck with your decision.

I would keep the 996 turbo, if set up correctly a safer and faster track car.
