She's here...

Finally picked it up this morning after a looooong long search. It's an 03 with 11k miles. Never modified. I am soooo happy with it so far. It really is a grand touring car. So smooth and quiet on the highway. I don't think I've ever driven a car thats this comfortable for long distance trips. Perfect street car. Coming from a 475rwhp Corvette I wasnt expecting a whole lot in terms of acceleration from the stock turbo. Boy was I wrong. This car MOVES in the first few gears. It definitely seems faster than a stock LS3 vette. It really takes you by surprise when the turbos hit. It's so easy to shift fast too. Before I got the car I was planning on 16g or billet K16s but now I have decided to leave it at flash only. I don't even want to give up the stock exhaust. The only thing that bugs me about the car that I'm not sure how to fix is the stance. The sport techno wheels already come with 17mm spacers but they are still too far in. Would it be crazy to use thicker spacers than that? I would also like to drop the car down a little bit without sacrificing ride quality. Can PSS10s be set up to ride like stock but still tighten up the handling? Anyways, here are some teaser shots. I will take some real pictures next week after the first round of mods.

Congrats. Looks pristine. But we're gonna need some more pics of that FGT sitting next to it:)

wow nice car;) i think pss10 will be good for what you want out of it. i have them set at it's lowest setting in the front and still at 25 1/4 and sits really nice. handles beautifully.

Beautifull car,I also have the PSS10 and like them a lot,to get full advantage off a flash you should get another exhaust,if you don't like your exhaust to be loud get an Europipe stage 1,you'll love it.

Hope you enjoy the car!

Go Lakers! though, haha.

mint... now the fun begins. just a flash... good luck :p

Wow....great looking car, super clean..

The only thing that I would "fix" on it is the height...and it'll be perfect..

corvettes are nice too... wish they were available here.
May I ask you where you live? We have them even here...in the semi-comunist Italy..they cost A LOT but they are available.

Congrats! Gorgeous car and garage!

Congrats! You can't compare to German ride quality.
Just chip huh? That's what we all said! haha.. If anything maybe look into the PBK exhaust. It's a modified stock system by Porsche by Ken. The stock one is way too restrictive.
PBK exhaust

As for suspension, how about looking into the X73 suspension. The PSS10 is a nice coilover for the street and some track.

The sport techno can be used for winter wheels. So get you a set of nice 18" for the street! 19" you'll sacrifice road quality, especially on the east coast.

Congrats!

Beautiful car. Looks identical to the one I just picked up a couple weeks ago; will get pics up soon, sorta waiting on the new 997tt wheels.

I will say, my EP Loud exhaust is a amazing upgrade, in case you do change your mind about wanting a louder exhaust ;).
