Car won't start!!!!!

So I go into the garage tonight to start my car, turn the key and car won't start. You hear clicking when I turn the key. There is power to the radio and so on. However I did notice my clock had been reset. Anybody else have this problem with your car? Weak battery? Alternator? Starter?

you battery is weak. recharge or get new battery. after charging or getting new battery, check for charging, if ok, check for draws. if no draws, it was just a battery.

Be sure to lock your doors via the key fob to shut more electric draws off...

A Porsche battery lasts a maximum of about 5 years. If you drive just a few miles at a time, it will be less. Many batteries have a sticker with installation date. The symptoms you describe point to low battery charge. I most cases, the battery needs charging or replacing. If the issue returns, have the altonator checked. Pep Boys will do that for free. If its working fine, you might have a electrical draw, possibly aftermarket stereo or similar. If you just don't drive the car very much, buy a trickle charger and you will be fine.

Thanks for the info. I will start with the battery then go from there. The car does not get driven enough so I hope it's just a case of a weak battery.

if the car is garaged, get a battery tender to keep the charge up. batteries last a lot longer that way.

Hey guys thanks for your help. It was the battery that was low and caused the car not to start. I definately have to buy a trickle charger now for when the car is sitting.
