After years of research, I've finally pulled the trigger.
Well, Markski (911 Tuning) and Todd (Protomotive) are taking care of me. Who else right? 24/18s, intercoolers, hoses, injectors, turbo inlet ducts, coil packs, plugs, Forge DVs, and a couple of other small improvements. Markski is the most honest straight forward tuner/enthusiast/owner I have ever spoken to and had the pleasure of working with. A genuine guy who deals with impatient car owners (who me?). Anyway, the car should be ready next week (Thursday?). I can't wait.
Atspeed motorsports is doing the install, check out the facility, it's pristine. I know the owner (former Speed World Challenge GT driver) and the technician doing the work, truly a craftsman. I'll post my review when I get her back on the road. It's the red Gt2 on the link. http://atspeedmotorsports.com/todays_projects |
Wow, very nice, Red is a stunning color!

Congratulations and welcome to the GT2 Club !! The Car looks phenomenal; I have always loved the red GT2.
Get your suspension dialed in... It will seriously change the way the Car works for you... I think you are going to be VERY impressed with it by the time all the work is finished and you get it back.. :D:D:D |

Thanks, but I've been a member of the Gt2 club since '06. Now I'm a member of the moderately modified Gt2 club.

The Red GT2s reallllly POP for some reason. There was one for sale with a painted red center console and seat backs which was phenomenal. I don't even particularly like red, hah.
Congrats, too. Should be an awesome street setup. |
Beatiful GT2,shiny RED and you choose the best tuners besides Mark is a
really honest and knowledgeable guy,Todd K a genius. Enjoy much your beatiful-modded GT2 |
Beautiful car and congrats on the new mods. That's going to be a blast to drive!
Hope you're also in the market for a new clutch! Enjoy! |
I already have the clutch. Thanks. It's the 6th clutch down. GMG sport clutch. http://www.gmgracing.com/porsche_drivetrain.shtml My car isn't a virgin, it had a flash, Europipe II, so I'm hoping for about another 50 horsepower to the wheels. I think the biggest improvement with the 24/18s is that the power comes on sooner and stays constant throughout the rpm band. My car before this modification peaked at 506 rwhp (6700 rpm), I think now it will hit 550 rwhp at 4000 and pretty much stay there. I'll know for sure next week.

Nice, can't wait to hear the reviews, that red says get out of my way!
