HID's slow to turn on
 

The last few times that I have driven the 996 at night, I have noticed that the HID headlights have been slow to come on. When I turn them on, I can see a little dim glow for a moment or two before they come on. Its both headlights by the way.

Anyone know what that might be about?

Sounds normal. HID bulbs need a few seconds to come up to operating temperature.

It may be your light switch dieing. Thats how my lights started acting before they got to the point of not working at all. I had to play with the switch near the end.

Mine too. Finally won't come on at all. I have a new switch on the way.
