My newest toy.. HOLY CR@P!!! it's fast..

Holy Mother of GOD!!! As if my BMW S1000Rr wasn't fast enough already.. my new setup is just deranged!!!!! With the full Akrapovic Evo Race Ti system and Dan Kyle's Power Commander V map, 198 RWHP at the moment ....

Holy Cr@p ... I had a 2006 Kawasaki ZX-10R (and a Suzuki GSXR 1100 1425cc kitted) that had full system, Tekka custom tune, BMC race filter, Factory Racing velocity stacks and a thinner head gasket and neither of those Bikes is even CLOSE to being as fast as this BMW S1000RR... The quickshifter is flawless and you can just stay FLAT on the gas on the upshifts...

It is cartoonishly, shockingly, takes your breath away and makes you scream like a little girl type fast...:D:D I freaking can't get enough of it between 12,000 and 14,250 rpm... Worse than drugs...hilarious

Yeah... Dan's Map for the PCV is the real killer though.. Smooth, driveable and makes a real difference in both the midrange and at the top end...

I have been smiling like a lunatic for about a week now.. hilarious

sofa king seksi!!!

Very interesting, especially sense its next to impossible to have a fast car in CA anymore.

That thing must rule the streets. How would it do against a Hayabusa?

ReeknHavic Dec 7, 2010 02:42 PM

Drool!!

I'm seriously thinking about replacing my 06 GSXR 1000 with one of these.

I would assume it would put a bus length on a stock busa.

Let's get a VBox on that bad boy and see what it does 60-130!

Against a stock Hayabusa, it destroys it.. A Hayabusa is a good 120 lbs heavier and it's 40 RWHP down on my Bike as it stands right now... The Hayabusa is OLD and nowhere near the top of the heap these days... Having said that, a Hayabusa can be modded to insane levels of power.. Just add a turbo and you can get to 600 RWHP!!!!

Stock engined S1000RR: 1/4 in 8.48 at 158 mph..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxcBK0IuC0o

Stock wheelbase BMW S1000RR with pipe and Powercommander only: 8.97 at 157 mph.. ignore the crap music.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cl-xc...eature=related

202 mph in the standing mile with a $25.00 sprocket change, pipe and PCV only.

And in the UK, motorcycle journalist for Performance Bikes magazine Kev Smith recently took a virtually stock RR to an amazing 202mph (325km/h) at a Straightliners Top Speed event run in conjunction with the UK Land Speed Racing Association. The magazine had previously logged a GPS-recorded 197.289mph by reducing the rear sprocket by two teeth, removing mirrors and indicators, and taping up the fairing gaps.
Believing that they could go even faster, they fitted a full Akrapovic exhaust system, a rear sprocket with one less tooth and a Power Commander V fuel tuning device for this latest run. On setting the amazing time of 202mph, a crowd soon gathered around the RR, asking exactly what had been done to it. “Basically nothing,” was the answer from Performance Bikes’ Mark White, who concluded: “Our S1000RR remains essentially a standard 1000cc production motorcycle with an off-the-shelf pipe, a sprocket swap and some gaffer tape. With its two-year warranty still intact it has just broken two hundred miles an hour in one mile from a standing start. Astonishing.”

My friend preordered one of those and BMW sent him a titanium rocker arm on a keychain. I swear the keyring weighed more than the complete rocker arm. Such cool technology in that bike... enjoy, Graham!

I just noticed that the timeslips from the stock wheelbase bike shows 127 mph at the 1/8th!!!! And a 1.4 60ft.. Just silly..

There has been a rumor about a 600 for a while.... BMW deny it, stating cost considerations, but I hope they do.. My Wife would be all over that.. She has a Triumph 675 Daytona right now.

Here's a supposedly leaked photo..
