Anyone has these rims on his 996TT? (GT2 RS rims)
I'm just wondering if anyone here has GT2 RS rims, or these replicas:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270668183015&viewitem= &sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT
They look really good, wondering how would they look on a 996.
Thanks!

What they said.
In terms of aftermarket and depending on whether you are just going for the look or need the widest tire possible for traction, you can go as wide as 9.5" in the front and 12" in the back, like the One Lap Winning Topspeed GT2:

Not sure if they rolled the fenders, but that car looks sick!

I would like to maintain the stock rims size. I just wanted to see if anyone has these rims installed and has a picture.
And yeah I know about the center lock these are just pretty nice looking replicas.

Here is a case of the manufacturer of these wheels knowing nothing about the car.
Yes, you can use a 10 inch wide wheel on the back of a 996TT. Lots of reputable companies sell them. However, the correct offset in that case would be about +40mm, not +60mm as advertised.
If you install a +60mm offset wheel on the car, it will look stupid and cause the car to oversteer.
If you're looking for low-cost wheels for your Turbo, contact Damon at the Tire Rack. He will set you up with something that looks great and is correct for your car.
As far as "Replica" is concerned, the term is a joke. Most of these so-called replicas are simply counterfeit rip-offs made by someone in Asia that has never seen a Porsche Turbo.
To me, Replica=Stealing.
BTW, this seller better hope Porsche doesn't catch him with the Counterfeit Porsche Caps.
