Werks1 Carbon Fiber rear wing for 996tt
1 Attachment(s)
Hi guys,
Is there any other vendor out there that would make this type of wing for 996tt? I've emailed Champion Motorsports about it, but have not got a respond from them. I want the rear diffuser like that though.

Hi Luv....apologies for not hearing back from us. Not sure how you're message slipped through the cracks.
Unfortunately the Werks1 wing will not fit on a 996TT... :( |
Thanks Tom. Any chance you guys would produce one for 996tt? I'm sure there will be lots of interests from the 996tt communities, including the front spoiler as well.
thx, Josh |
^i would be interested in a rear spoiler. the exact same style
|
i do agree on that diffuser.
|
+1 I like both wing and diffuser!
|
issue on 996tt with the diffuser is how the exhaust hangs on our car... :P
but i agree... the wing does look pretty good as well. |
Champion doesn't make parts for the 996 series.

It's not that we don't want to produce these parts, but there are just so many good products out there for the 996 that we would get killed on price if we did. The Werks1 wing, for example, is a $4500 piece. Although it looks very simple in design....it's actually the most difficult to produce out of all our carbon products. That, along with the extensive wind-tunnel testing we did when designing it, drive the price. If we produced one for the 996TT at that price....it just wouldn't make sense. |

hmmm, that's not really true. We carry tons of parts for the 996 series. Exhausts, suspension parts, wheels, etc. The only thing we don't have is our off-the-shelf carbon parts, or "bolt-on" power kits. We have done several 996TT builds in house.

Looks like we got a few interest on Werks wing and rear diffuser. Can you make it happen? I can start a poll to see how many are interested for the first group buy. :) -Josh |
