996 Turbo - mod'ed part 2
sorry for the new thread. I am haiving the weirdest error on this board. I have emailed the admin a few times but have never gotten a response. I can post new threads but cannot reply or quote on any threads.
Anyway I wanted to show another pic of my car as the side angle is not the best IMO

Hi Paul
I sell and own a Gemballa Hood so I can give you some insight!
Fitment: Not the best, but about as good as it gets with a CF hood. It is made of Carbon Kevlar so the fitment will never be exact. The main problem I had with mine was getting it to sit lower to be flush with the side fenders. It does sit a little above them... In the photo below you can see that the bottom right corner sticks up a bit as well, this is not really noticable in person, just a photo taken from that angle!!
Weight: Mine weighed in at 15LBS WITH the latch on it! My stock weighed 34LBS with the latch... You can pick the hood up with ONE FINGER!
Price: Retail just went up on the hood to around $3,300 from $2,795 due to the dollar/euro exchange, however I have an AWESOME deal for you if you are interested as we have 2 more remaining in Germany that my boss would like to get rid of. Email me if interested evan@fvd.us

Regards,
Evan

Just a modder...
Where did you get hose headlight covers and how do they attach? I have always wanted to get covers and paint them red to match my car and just run them during the day. But that would only work if they go on and come off easy.
