Simply amazing esp in the wet.

That was great. Reminds me a lot of my race at Mid Ohio in a Skip Barber formula car... except that was in POURING rain and I was going quite a bit slower. hilarious Regardless, it wasn't fun; it was very stressful.

is it just me or does that look borderline stupid?

SamboTT@ByDesign Jul 28, 2011 11:06 AM

Looks like this guy could almost do it with his eyes closed. It's literally his "backyard" though.

Respo Jul 28, 2011 03:13 PM

The guy sure can drive + ballsy

That is some outrageous driving. My wife and I did a couples Porsche trip back in 2001 with 14 other couples. All of us got to rent brand new Porsche's from Boxster's to Turbo's. On the last day of the trip we got to run the Ring a couple times. The conditions were mostly dry but there were a few areas on the beginning of the track that were wet from some light rain. Trying to compare my driving compared to this guy...ha, not even close. I gotta tell you that this guy really knows how to drive the Ring especially in conditions. I came no where close to what this guy was putting down. Unbelievable driving! Thanks for sharing this. It was so cool and brought back some really great memories.

Wow, insane. Almost every time he accelerates the car looks ready just to completely spin out and he manages to massage it and keep it in line.

Never seen it before and thank you very very much for posting. absolutely brilliant to watch.
Thanks again.
