Shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear (stock setup)

Shifting from 1st to 2nd gear gives instant power when 2nd gear engages (with tire squeal). Feels like a base ball bat slamming on my back. Shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear the power delivery is very soft. Like clutch slipping a fraction of a second. The car pulls strong but the slam isnt there at all.

I bought the car with a new clutch (stock), and I strongly think it is not clutch slippage issue. Is it just the fact that a bone stock TT doesnt have enough power to make rear tires whine when shifting to third gear?

I also heard a rumour that a TT has a system that cuts down the torque when shifting to 3rd gear to prevent clutch burn? True?

My car does spin tyres at 3rd gear, especially when it is a bit colder outside or when tyres are not warmed.

I have flash, exhaust and intake.

Well I believe it is a stock clutch but I am not sure as I bought the car in June and never really checked the clutch.

It does seem lighter to operate than what my friend has in his 996tt and I would imagine heavy duty aftremarket of any kind should be a bit stiffer?

Baseball bat to the back? I dont think you would walk away after a drive in that car. Ok I know.. Why it feels like that is because gears multiply torque. the lower the gear the more you feel it. 1st is torque limited by the ecu, 2nd it's all there and 3rd just does not multiply the stock torque enough to give you the feel you are looking for. The easy fix is a flash.
