I haven't removed the old one yet. I was waiting to get the new one in. On order through Pelican Parts.

Is this the type of valve that could be cleaned to possibly restore operation for a little while? If so, I might do that this weekend.

I would say not. If it's shot its shot. Nothing you can service, it's sealed plastic.

So this junction piece (y pipe?) where the three hose connections meet sits on top of the plenum. I assume this is replaceable? Or do I need a new plenum now?

New plenum, good news is its "only" ~$90 from ECS tuning. Ask me how I know hilarious

Same thing happen to you?

Sorry to bump up an old thread. I am doing a boost leak test and have a question. I read in this post that you have to use the tester on one turbo and block off the second turbo. However I read in another post that if you have the stock Maf then you put the tester on one turbo, remove the airbox and plug the 3.5" opening and leave the second turbo alone. Is this true? Thanks!

So I put the tester on one turbo, plug the second turbo and then also remove the airbox and plug that opening? If I didn't remove the airbox and plug the 3.5" opening would it not just leak through the airbox? Thanks for the info!

No think about it... if you pull the intake side of the turbo off and plug that, you are essentially eliminating the airbox.

Afterall, the air box goes to the two turbos.

Does that make sense?

You need a second plug like the one you made. It does not need an air fill, but a pressure gauge on that end is extremely helpful. Here is what I have.

Awesome! Thanks!

I built a setup like this but used a tire valve instead. I also built one that I can plug and fill from above by removing the airbox. I think you should test from both places.
