6speedonline's official 1/4 Mile, 60-130, 100-150 and Standing Mile thread
Guys
AMS has raised the bar with their new Alpha Omega GT-R! They have bettered the 3.3s Alpha 12 car's time with a 3.13s run on an essentially flat track. This run was part of their 8.62s quarter run which I am sure everyone is familiar with. The A/O car has 1600whp on the dyno but as you might guess is significantly traction limited on most surfaces. This run was 1300-1400 whp.
I saw Ivan and this car last weekend at the TX Mile. It ran 233 mph on low boost (~1200 whp). This car is a beast!!
Congrats to Martin and the whole AMS crew!!

Did I describe that correctly?
To me, they are the top two platforms. The only car I'd consider switching to from a big power GTR is a TTG.
I'll also add that the big power Porsches are definitely up there as well.

From a performance standpoint, I'd say you nailed it. If you want a car that can beat most anything from a dig on the street, and is also in the top echelon from a roll, the GTR is your car. If you want a true roll-on king, and have an extra $300 plus K laying around a TTG is your best choice.
