Bob Helms Lambo does 234 + change in Standing Half Mile!!!

Peter Blach sent over a file from Bob Helms UGR Lambo from a half mile event in FL. Believe it or not! 234.7 mph in only half a mile! 99.99% of us would be thrilled to get that speed in a whole mile!! Get this also! The run was slightly uphill on a slippery surface!!!

996 turbo tiptronic RWD x50 sport exhaust without catalysts +ecuflach The best time of 1/4 11.9. This is a bad time for this configuration? I will start with two pedals with second gear. Tiptronic mode –Drive(not manual). PSM ON. Engine speed of about 2000 and boost at best 0.2. If these parameters are more car breaks down with the brakes .... May be I'm doing something wrong?
I can't imagine anyone achieving any kind of success (with regard to ET) launching in 2nd gear at a drag strip. For your best ET, you must always start in 1st gear, and run it out as far and fast as you can, without hitting the rev limiter. Tiptronic guys can chime in, but starting 2nd isn't helping you, or your transmission.

I tried to start the first gear, but in general it is impossible to enter the boost.
Or failure to start or car breaks down with the brakes

Member Goonthree has improved his best by over a second! He has a stock block GT-R with GTX2867 turbos and E85 by Linneytuning. His run is a 5.07s 60-130! Congrats Kerry! Thats really good on stock motor!

Member easytospeed sent over some data on his GT-R. It is a 5.59s 60-130 on Stock motor, transmission, and stock frame. His turbos are Pro8 on E85.

Andrew from Modern Horse Power sent some data from one of his customers mercs. Its a CLA45 AMG with the MHP ECU mod only on pump. It is a 11.81s 60-130!
Congrats Andrew! That is great for such a heavy car with minimal mods!

Member Yumaverick sent over some amazing data from his 1650 whp EVOMS monster 997TT. The data is taken from a standing half mile run of 219 mph! I am sure dedicated runs would be faster... He posts a 3.34s 60-130 (3-shifts) and a 2.49s 100-150!!
Those are some of the fastest we have seen from the Porsches! Congrats Anthony and Todd Z!!!

Member LamboTT has sent some updates over for his UGR Stage 3+ Gallardo on pump. He has a 3.89 60-130 and 3.31 100-150! Those are outstanding, especially on pump fuel!
King Kong (Kong's 996TT) went 172mph in the 1/4 tonight at TX2K15. This was just rolling out of the gate and letting it eat. Thing is an absolute beast! When he gets back home I'm sure he will get the slip up.
I did a quick run today with quite a bad 3rd-4th gear change, too slow and too late but got an official 6.50 seconds, which to date is my fastest stock K24, stock engine turbo 996 Turbo time. Temps were 40F, slope -1.76%, Toyo R888s, E70 fuel, FBO, Mafless
Weight 3450 lbs. Full tank of gas, 1 x dog, 1 x 200 lb driver.
