Also i am thinking about trying to find a basic tequipment roll bar, Would a rear strut brace like this work well together? I rather not get a full on wild roll bar due to there price and the fact that i am not really going to track this car all that much, and not going to use harness belts. But it seems you can find used tequipment roll bars for around 500-800 dollars used? Does that sound reasonable. Or should i just get a roll bar with the built in strut mounting crossbar?

The badge is stock. Go to Suncoast or pelicanparts.com

The brace will fit with Techquipment as the Techq only attaches to floor at B-pillar and seat belt bolts in backseat.

Thanks for the quick reply! Do you think the techq with a strut tower bar would be a better deal than an expensive heavy roll bar if i do not really plan on road race/ tracking the car? Or will i spend the same money by the time i find a used techq roll bar and buy a strut tower bar?

I'd skip the strut bar and get a GMG, DAS or Stable energies cage. In the end you will always get the money back on those (unless you choose a crazy color) and for track, canyon or wherever they are very good roll cages. The thing to consider though is that the Techquiment in some form without diagonal bar installed still allows larger luggage behind the seats though, the other cages don't give that option as they have more cross and diagonal bars.

I don't think I have that on mine. I have to take a closer look, but I'm always throwing my bags and stuff in the rear and I don't recall ever seeing that huge turbo badge. Does the model year have anything to do with it? I have an '03.

That rear badge was never there when I got the car... I always found something better to spend $40 on...like meth...

As far as a roll bar, I had a tequipment bar in there, but sold it to Adam, (Blockhed) he might still have it?
