A30/76

Hello,
i would like to know if someone is running A30/76 on stock maf?
Thanks

I am. I was worried about blowing mafs but EPL assured me it would be fine and Tony was right. Runs great! I had the Proto intake (Ford MAF) and hated the way it drove.

I run those on stock MAF. MAF blew after about 2 months on them. MAF was stock - never replaced in 10 years so it was most likely time for it to go. Car runs very smooth.

A3076 Billet
Markski 900hp fuel system
EPL Tune with 72# Injectors on stock FPR
1.5bar on 93 and Meth

1.7 pump/meth. I do have head studs and rods.

Dual in-tank pump setup like Evoms.

Stock MAF is best for driveablity, and not sure you give up too much at a certain level. Blow through MAF MIGHT be better for higher HP levels, but driveability can't be matched by a stock MAF...

Its all about the install and leak free set up... it does act up if you have huge after market throttle bodies or dvs on Y pipe... get some oscillation at idle because it disturbs air flow to the maf... but done right you at least can tune for it because you are within maf range... otherwise it's all an arrow in the air... but you already know that lol

here I did Arron's car and had no issues first time with idle and drivability...
Yet I know of 2 A3076s( both on 6speed running OEM maf) and from 2 different tuners and they both are having issues...
In my opinion it takes a lot in either case to get it right...

Hitachi MAF never blows and drives like stock, imo

When utilizing the OEM MAF and intake platform with upgraded turbos (which I prefer after having owned both a blow-thru Ford MAF kit and back to OEM), it's best to upgrade the intake plenum and piping to allow more air flow to the turbos.

We produce a great kit for this application (pictured below), which we highly recommend for anyone upgrading turbos, while running an OEM style MAF.

Does someone tried to use a 500 ohm resistor on the maf signal wire ?

worth it to upgrade turbos from A28s to A30/76 sure with bigger Y pipe ,fender intake and meth injection?the car already has monster ic big injectors etc.. ,,and thinking to run race pipes ,NO EXHAUST:).
Thanks
