996 Turbo / GT2 Turbo discussion on previous model 2000-2005 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo and 911 GT2.

Ridiculous to buy a 996tt and make it my DD?

As much as I love my 996TT, I would never drive it in the snow. Not because it's not a great car, but because of all the other knuckleheads driving around you. I lived up in MN for 15 years and drove an M5 (heresy). Fantastic car in all weather. Maybe look for one of those or an M3. Still very sporty!

ZuSchnell is infamous around these parts
911s are perfect DD, that's what they are meant to do, daily driving during the week, track duty on the weekend.

I use mine as my DD and my 5-year old loves it. We have too many kids to all fit, so we also have a mini-van
