I have a pair of cut down axle stubs that I will loan out to a known forum member shipping on you! You can remove your axles and drive shaft and leave the dif in there couple of hours work. Drive it around and see if you like it.

I'm considering going RWD, so am interested. How long could they be borrowed for (since nothing happens quickly in my world of modifying)? ;)

LOL, same in my world. I do not care how long, just that they can be out there to make it easier for other members to explore what it is that these cars have to offer. I was thinking to make a plate and spring type "lsd" that can be installed in the stock diff so that no shimming would be needed. just out and back in. Not that it is needed but its nice.

Stock axles can be taken apart and reinstalled...no need to ruin anything?

Not everyone would go through that or is up for a job like that. It is a mess, takes more time, need to buy cv grease, boot clamps and you run the chance of the surface that the balls roll on getting rusted. If that happen the axle will chew its self up when put back together.
