What's the deal with 18" Forgestar wheels
Do they exist for us or not?
So I see this thread saying they won't be making 18": https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ped-takes.html Then this one that lists a variety of 18" options: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ht-weight.html I'm starting to plan now for a set of summer wheels. I'm thinking if I go used, get something bling bling that I really like, but if I'm buying it new - pick up something light like the forgestar wheels instead of typical cast wheels that all seem to look exactly the same (wheel dynamics, avant garde, ruger etc etc). What's the deal with that anyway? Seems like HRE should sue or something. |
They exist, but not sure if they still sell them new - some of the vendors should be able to answer. I have 18's on mine.

I have 18's too, but they are GT3 offset made flush with 19 mm spacers.

they look wicked esp on your avatar. i still have wheel envy and every time i see the f14's i say i gotta do it. wish i could see the brushed titanium up close.. btw, are you running 8 or 8.5 & 11's? someone here had a set f/s... i missed em. argh.

I have 18" F14s in 12" in a GT2 offset and 9.5" in max fit no rub, no roll fitment wrapped with 315 and 265 tires
Considered selling them for $1500 including tires and TPMS (about 500 miles on whole setup) but didn't feel like shipping |

No spacers and fit perfect! Running 245 fronts and 315 rears |

when you say "made flush" what is the gt3 offset? my stock twists are perfectly flush now but i'm running 7 and 15mm spacers. could i keep that setup with just 18-8 and 18-11's? $1600 a set is cheap! but those are 19's..
Not sure of the exact GT3 offsets, but they work on 996 TT's with some pretty thick spacers. I think the rear spacers would work, but the fronts would need a bigger one to look decent. |

thanks guys. that's it, i don't want to change the stance i've got so i think i'm going to try for the setup that raineycd has with the wider 9" on front, IF i can find these wheels. if anyone knows of any used, but not scuffed f14's...
cheers. |
They make 18s, but they are not hubcentric, you need to use an insert. The new wheels they are making in 19s are hubcentric, so no insert required. The first link you posted says they are now making 19s that are hubcentric and they will push them to make 18s that are also hubcentric.

i just reached out to the vendor that posted their availability in 18's. haven't heard back yet, but i'm "off" for the h'days, and i imagine they are also. also, i missed a really good deal here recently, on a barely? used set, so i figured i'd start here..
edit: also, champion says they;re NOT available in 18 (?) but guys here have em, so i'm a bit confused.. and now i have to sort out the "hubcentric" issue. i need them to bolt on, same spacers i'm using now etc. |
