k24 /18g _ 72lb injectors dyno results are in
My buddy on here asked me to post his graph and gauge discussion on his results...
Mod list :
...power seems a tad low to me ??? Graph: - RESULTS ARE AT FLYWHEEL NOT AT WHEEL HORSEPOWER http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...07821198_n.jpg |
why at flywheel not at wheels?
|
Power is around the norm but it all depends on altitude, weather and etc too. what psi?
|
+1 about the dyno question.
With those mods, your car should be flying. If you went from stock to that setup and are questioning it after driving, something is wrong. |

always at fly in UK because we are awkward.
running 1.5 bar of boost, weather... it was indoors on a dyno.. but its about 4degrees outside, very cold altitude? we are as flat as you can get here and we run UK 99Ron fuel which i think is equal to your 93ron ? |
I would say thats very good results specially on that " heart breaker " Dyno :)
|
HI,,I never saw this type of crank measurement come from a wheel dyno..It does sound low for crank HP with your mods........
1.5 bars without an extra fuel pump?? IMO that doesnt not sound to safe but then it might be pulling alot of timing.. |
How many miles on the car? Was the car ever over filled with oil? Ask your tuner what the possibilities are. I had a slightly bent valve and its was pretty much undetectable; after a small loss of power my tech diagnosed it by a leak down test and compression test on each cylinder. Heck you can possibly have a boost leak somewhere.
Im subscribed... cheers |
No before and after ? How about a stock car on their dyno ? Did you pressure test for leaks ?
I made about 520WHP on the dyno dynamics at BBI on 91 octane at 1.2 bar .. At 1.5 bar and good fuel, one would think you would be closer 575WHP, which would be around 675 at the crank ? Every dyno is different, having something to compare from the same dyno would be very helpful. You sure that's not at the wheels ? |
Weird, a car does some pulls on a Dyno Dynamics and the numbers show flywheel results.
Ok, so if I recall right... difference between Dyno Dynamics and a Mustang Dyno, Mustang Dyno reads approx 4% higher. Might be 7%... can't remember now that I think about it. Either way, 592 converted to Mustang Dyno BHP (4% to 7%) numbers and you would see something like 615BHP to 633BHP. Around 22% drivetrain loss on your manual and those numbers do seem a little low when converted to the wheels. Especially being 4 degrees out at your location. |
apparently this is at the wheels, ill get yaz to explain?
|
Yea I dynoed 531 rwhp through 100 cell cats with just 18g's and 5 bar. Stock ic's and injectors. That was at 1.1-1.2. This was rwd
|
I rang the tuner and this IS DEFINITELY AT THE FLYWHEEL
|
Is this awd or rwd?
