It's only a matter of time....
 

Been enjoying my tt this past spring, warts and all....on long drives I have been smelling faint coolant from the front. I guess it was better then faint smell of fuel from my ruptured fuel sender nipple, lol. So I finally jacked up front end this weekend to investigate and maybe clean radiators of debris. The car has the tech art front bumper, pretty simple to remove. The radiators were not really cluttered with debris, some pebbles and pieces of foliage. I removed the aux rads to inspect the coolant rads, and low and behold, a small collection of caked dust, slightly moist. Seeping coolant and what I am sure of is a potential full on rupture. I plan on ordering the driver side , which I believe is listed as left? And try this fix my self, doesn't look difficult at all. What is recommended coolant, or substitute that I can order online? Also, from threads I have read, I can clamp lines, install new, fill new before securing top line, finish, jack car up from rear, run car till warmed up, adding fluid as to remove small air from system, is this correct?
