Tial Alpha 3076's who sells em, as im the market for a pair?

Tial Alpha 3076's who sells em, as im the market, pm me pricing for a pair of billets and tell me what exhaust housing options are available?

Thanks!

There is only one exhaust housing avaialble on the them - the Alpha bolton housing housing with proetary A/R that is not public info. If you get VBand or T3 flanged turbo with same cold side and wheel you can get a choice of .63 or a .82 hot side.

HI, Just curious here...Since you have an X-50,did you ever think about the billet K24/20's??

ant_8u Jun 22, 2012 08:54 AM

John - did you ever move to 20gs, or did you stick with the 18s

Did cross my mind, but my HP goals will surpass what the billet k24/20g's can offer so I plan to sell them & my gt2/x50 intercoolers to offset the cost.

good option - will certianly save several thousand $$, but Alphas will spool quicker and sustain power better all the way to redline. they will also generate less heat due to larger compressor covers as well as put less backpressure in the header with the more efficient/larger hotside -> less chance of exhaust valve float. not to mention they will make more power per pound of boost.

I had the 24/20's and was not a fan of them to be honest. I found they were a little bit laggy. but that was for my driving/fun.

what do you plan on doing with the car?

My HP goals are only 700whp, anything more & I'll break the supra out....my local friends & I like to have fun on the hwy from 60-xxx. hilarious

The billet 24/20's don't seem too laggy. They seem to spool like the 24/18's.

Plus the cost differance 20g's kit vs Alpha kit is almost same cost with better performance for Alpha.

yeah you are right. some people get the perception because they hit hardest in higher rpm but they are not very laggy. my Alpha3076 billets spooled jsut as fast as stock K16s with tune and suporting mods on both dynos. only things that will spool faster are K16 billets and alpha 28s.

the way i see it. you need to drop 1400$ for conversion or you can sell K24s for 1500 and pay an extra 3500$ for Alphas. So the real price difference is only 2000$.

20g so called is a great turbo.. we had the very first set... but we did a little magic to them too... but they will not do real 700whp... we did 670... and it ran like it.... and that was on race gas... thus you will need race gas as well for A3076s...
good luck..

I have A3076s and don't run on race gas. Car is solid and is plenty for the highway...
