Also raced an Evo, kid has a few bucks in it. Bigger intercooler, piping, 3 puck clutch, tune and suspension. He is pretty consistent 12.70 @ 107 mph. Yesterday it was very hot, pushing 100 degrees F and 110 heat index. I didn't expect to do very well.

MY best MPH was 120.1 every other MPH was right around 119.XX, my best ET was 12.4XX @ 109 MPH, tried to shift into 4th but missed. I may have had a much quicker time if I wouldn't have lost that last 11 mph. I'm still trying to figure out how to launch the car, when to shift etc. My 60' times were 2.1, 2.2 etc. I was really babying it. The very first pass the trans cable fell off of the transmission.

TO put some other things in perspective. 2012 Camaro Z-28 ran 14.0 ust over 100mph, new Challenger ran 14.47 maybe 100 mph. My 120 MPH trap speed was the top street car trap. It actually had a higher trap speed than a Suzuki GSXR 6, he ran 12.7 @ 117, I think the heat was killing everyone. Well, heat running out of third gear and missing gears. I still can't believe the shifter cable fell off. Made me granny the car the rest of the night. Wheel hop is a killer and I was getting a bunch of it.
